Today’s importers, distributors and manufacturers require considerably larger facilities, higher clear heights, greater parking and storage capacity, while still maintaining a focus on security and an environmentally sustainable design. Understanding these key development and transportation elements are why many companies select the Lord Trust as their developer of choice.
The Lord Trust has as its subsidiaries The Echo Group (which manufacture hollow core flooring slabs – situated in Chloorkop, Muldersdrift, Durban and Botswana). The Echo Group comprises Echo Prestress (Pty) Ltd, Echo Floors (Pty) Ltd, Fastfloor (Pty) Ltd, Fastfloor Botswana (Pty) Ltd(Delete). The chairman of the group is Peter John Lord.
The Lords View Property Owners Association (LVPOA) is a section 21 company and is made up of the parks owners. The Lords View Industrial Estate will offer the advantages of freehold title with the benefits of a managed estate controlled by the LVPOA.
The aim of the Design Criteria is to set out the objectives and the controls to manage physical development at Lords View to achieve the desired overall functionality and estate character over time.
Compliance with the Design Criteria is a condition of subdivision. The Local Authority requires that building plans must first be approved by the Lords View Property Owners Association (LVPOA) prior to the submission of Scrutiny Plans to the Local Authority for the necessary building permits.
